This year, -our fifth, King of the Island will be held in a revival spirit of universal love.

This is the kite event that combines holiday, unity and the party spirit. Once again this event will be held on the island of Anholt in the middle of kattegat.

We have reserved the usual spot at the SW corner of the local camping grounds.

Beachlife, -the sun and the moon is in focus this year. Kite competitions will take a strong second. The comps will be determined according to the reigning weather conditions.

When is King of the Island?

The Love and kite event runs from july 20nd until july 24th 2004.

If you feel like it you are of course welcome to arrive earlier and/or stay longer.

Registration for the Kite events and competition is to be made on Anholt no later than july 20nd 2004. The price for registration is only 200.- dkr. for competitors. All participants must check-in on the first day (tuesday july 20nd) no later than noon.

If conditions allow and the general mood is all for it, competitions will be held all days from july 20 - july 24. both days included.

The registration fee of 200.- dkr. allows you to compete equally with all other registered participants.

The competition will be arranged directly at the event according to conditions and mood. This will determine what kind of disciplines will be held, freestyle, hangtime, long distance or video session, anything goes (nude-session anyone?)

Competition each day with first possible start at 1pm.

Each evening there will be held Dinner at Café Casablanca. Participants must signup at check in. (Price not known yet!)

Saturday will host a Barbeque and Price giving party. (Special signup)"
